Animals raised for ButcherBox never receive antibiotics or added hormones ever. Sick animals receive antibiotics and are not sold to ButcherBox. Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in poultry and bison. For wild-caught: Wild-caught seafood is sourced from its natural environment by fishermen who uphold strict sustainability practices. There are no antibiotics or hormones added to the wild-caught seafood you eat.

All ButcherBox meat and seafood proteins are audited by a third-party to verify against rigorous animal welfare or environmental sustainability standards.

Sourced from ranchers in Australia where the climate and pasture are ideal for raising 100% grass-fed cattle and lamb. Animals are born, raised, and harvested in Australia. Meat is cut and packaged in the US.
