FAQs - Points
Racking up points couldn’t be easier. Simply order your favorite ButcherBox products, like you always have, and you’ll earn 2 points for every $1 spent. Every existing, active member began earning points the day we launched Sizzle Society, October 1, 2024.
With each ButcherBox order you place, you’ll earn Sizzle Society points. You choose when to redeem your accrued points* for ButcherBox credits which will then be automatically applied to your ButcherBox orders.
*Must meet the minimum point amount to redeem for ButcherBox credits (1,000 points).
When you redeem your points+, a credit is added to your order. If the order you’ve applied credit to costs less than the total amount of credit on your account, your additional credit will remain in your account.

Once you hit 1,000 points ($10 in ButcherBox credits on future ButcherBox subscription purchases), you can start applying credits to your future orders.
As a matter of fact, points don’t play into your Sizzle Society tier. Those are determined based on the amount of orders you’ve placed as a ButcherBox member in the previous rolling 12 months.
If you do not place an order for 6-months, your tier status and points will reset and you will no longer have access to those tier benefits and/or points!

As long as you’re an active ButcherBox member, one Custom or Curated Box (regular or large) counts as one order.Your tier is calculated based on the number of orders you place in a 12-month period.

Welcome to something better! For members who’ve joined after Sizzle Society officially launched, we started calculating your Tier right after you place your first order. Tiers are calculated based on a rolling 12-month period and you have those benefits for the next 12-months. Your tier is calculated based on the number of orders you place in a rolling 12-month period. See below:

- Head Chef 4-10 Orders
- Executive Chef: 11+ Orders
REMINDER:If you go 6 months without placing an order, your tier status and points will reset and you will lose your tier benefits and points!

Once you are a Head Chef or an Executive Chef, you can change your “Free For A Year” offer. All you need to do is reach out to Customer support (via phone, email or chat) and they will work with you to update your existing “Free For A Year” offer with another offer*!
