Whether it’s April or December, a glazed ham should be the centerpiece of your holiday table. Our apricot-glazed ham is sweet and simple, with a homemade mixture of dried apricots and apricot nectar that melts together to form a glaze inspired by apricot jam. P.S. Our hickory-smoked bone-in spiral cut ham is the best ham!

Ingredients (4):

  • 1 ButcherBox Spiral Cut Ham
  • 3 c apricot nectar
  • ½ c dried apricots
  • ½ c whole grain mustard

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350℉.
  2. Combine apricot nectar and dried apricots in a saucepan. Reduce by half on medium heat, approximately 10 minutes.
  3. After apricot mixture has reduced, pour into a food processor or blender with whole grain mustard. Blend until it resembles apricot jam, approximately 2 min.
  4. Reserve 1 cup of glaze and spread the rest on the spiral cut ham. Place glazed ham cut side down on a baking sheet or roasting pan and bake for 40-50 minutes. Since the ham is already fully cooked, there is no need to reach a particular internal temperature. For reheating purposes, you can aim for an internal temperature of 165℉.
  5. Slice and serve with reserved apricot mustard. Enjoy!
