Sourcing Standards that Raise the Bar

Product of USA
The Product of USA label is a USDA voluntary standard showcasing that an animal was born, raised, harvested and processed entirely in the United States.

USDA Choice
USDA Choice beef has a good amount of marbling, which refers to the fat interspersed within the muscle. This marbling contributes to the beef's flavor and tenderness.

G.A.P 4 Certified Grain-Finished Beef
Certified G.A.P Step 4 means the cattle are always on the pasture. Towards the end of their life, grain is added to their diet. Cattle are never confined to a feedlot and never given antibiotics or hormones.

US Black Angus Beef
Black Angus is a breed of cattle known for their superior marbling, contributing to the beef's rich flavor and tenderness.
High ButcherBox standards you can trust.
We wanted to bring our customers the US Grain-Finished Beef they love, but with better sourcing and a commitment to animal welfare and sustainability.
Our new US Pasture-Raised, Grain-Finished program takes the practices of raising cattle on pasture and keeps them out of feedlots by adding grain in the pasture as their final diet element. Like all of our products, they are never given antibiotics or added hormones.
